| I have been buying and selling diamonds and gems for more than 40 years with training through the Gemological Institute of America. Evaluation of Diamonds and gemstones is a detailed science called gemology. The jargon and science behind gemology is complex. My job is to not try to make you an expert in gemology but to try to take some of the mystery out of your diamond or gemstone purchase. The Gemological Institute of America is the pre-eminent organization dealing with gemstone/diamond grading and testing. |
